GTS-RZ9000
Wireless terminal R&D level and certification level OTA test system
supporting 5G MIMO/SISO measurement
Product Description
The design and construction of RZ9000 is based on multiple independent patented technologies, including electromagnetic environment design, optimization of measurement components, optimization of testing algorithms, and system software development, among other technological innovations. The series of products adopt the mature and widely used Raytest wireless communication OTA testing software, which is developed based on the Microsoft .NET Framework software platform. It is comprehensive in functionality and easy to use, and the entire system has high testing stability and accuracy.
Product Features
The hardware design of RZ9000 OTA test system fully complies with the latest version of CTIA’s “Test Plan for Mobile Station Over the Air Performance” and strictly follows its prescribed calibration methods and test procedures for far-field testing conditions. In addition, RZ9000 can also be extended to support other IoT product testing such as Zigbee/Lora/NB IOT, which can be achieved through additional instruments and upgraded measurement software.

Features
The RZ9000 system adopts a multi-probe antenna system architecture. The probe antennas for SISO measurement and MIMO measurement are installed independently through a modular design, which improves the flexibility of system configuration. Modular installation not only reduces the complexity of system construction, but also improves system installation accuracy and consistency.
RZ9000 system supports MIMO test function based on RTS method. For example, the RTS method is used for 4X4 MIMO test.
RZ9000 MIMO test can support throughput test function based on SIR (Signal to Interference Ratio) and throughput test function based on RS-EPRE. The throughput test function based on SIR mainly refers to the MIMO test standard of CTIA. This method is to continuously increase the additional AWGN noise power in the case of the downlink power output by the fixed channel simulator, and change the SIR of the environment where the DUT is located. Evaluate the throughput performance of the DUT under different SIR conditions.
- RZ9000 system MIMO test supports two test schemes based on comprehensive tester and based on actual base station.
- The test scheme based on the comprehensive tester only includes downlink one-way channel simulation, which is used to evaluate the performance of the terminal downlink throughput. During the test, only the 8 probe antennas or 16 probe antennas of the horizontal middle ring can be used for the evaluation test under the 2D channel model, or the probe antennas on the upper and lower horizontal double rings can be added for the evaluation test under the 3D channel model.
- The test scheme based on the actual base station includes uplink and downlink bidirectional channel simulation, which can be used to evaluate the performance of the terminal’s uplink and downlink bidirectional throughput. When this scheme is adopted, one set of 8 probe antennas in the horizontal middle ring is used for downlink channel simulation, the other set of 8 probe antennas is used for uplink channel simulation, and the two sets of probe antennas are staggered to realize the uplink and downlink channel interaction scenarios.
The measurement antenna of RZ9000 is a broadband low-scattering dual-polarized antenna (MA-2800) independently designed by General Test. Can be used for gain calibration, measuring probes and generating wideband interference signals.
The absorbing material is one of the most important core components of the anechoic chamber, and its performance and product quality have a direct impact on the overall indicators of the project. GTS’s full range of products use high-performance, environmentally friendly fourth-generation absorbing materials based on the world’s leading technology – GTS’s patented polypropylene foam (EPP) absorbing material, which has unparalleled advantages over traditional polyurethane sponge (PU) materials sex.
